MILITARY SERVICE (ACTIVE DUTY)

Jun 17 '67-Jul28 '67 The 1967 United States Army Reserved Officers' Training Corps Summer Camp, Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, Annville, Pennsylvania 17003. Received training in firing all of the United States Army's latest infantry and artillery weapons, these included, but were not limited to, the M-16?, 9mm hand gun, machine guns, 35mm motar, 250mm howitzer, etc.. Tear gas training, biological weapons safety. Received instruction on using communications equipment in combat situations and how to conduct reconnaissance patrols, how to live on c-rations in the field, army tactics, how to plot azimuths, how to use camouflage, how to survive in the trenches, how to deal with snipers, what action to take if you are ambushed by an enemy, how to be in charge of an entire military base. We also had to pull KP and latrine duty,engage in forced marches, and a host of other military tactics and maneuvers.
